Artisan software - Reinstalled Linux Mint 20. Shows steps to set up artisan 2.4.6 with my modded Hottop TC4 roaster
To run artisan under Linux - must add user to dialout group
Start with factory reset, then config roaster
Config / Machine for old Hottop with TC4 arduino shield
Old Hottop with TC4 - with USB plugged in get three choices
try all three - correct USB port for my TC4 is ttyACM0
Default config for old Hottop with TC4 - success
Config / Device / ET/BT - uncheck Control at top - removes PID control button and SV slider
Config / Autosave - Set up file naming and location
Config / Curves / ROR - turn off projection of ROR
Config / Curves / Filters - change smoothing, swap ET - BT
Config / Curves / UI - Remove decimal places
Config / Axes for old Hottop
Config / Colors for old Hottop
Config / Events / Config - change default buttons for old Hottop
Config / Events / Buttons - large buttons for old Hottop
Config / Events / Sliders - correct setup to match older alarm files for old Hottop
Config / Phases - set Maillard start at 280F for old Hottop
Config / Alarms - load from background for old Hottop
Roast / Background - remove annotations and events for old Hottop
Location of shell script for audible alarms
