This is a literal Bordeaux blend: Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
This is really does taste like a Bordeaux, probably one of the best wines I have had from Argentina. |

We tasted this against the 2009 Creta Roble and the 2008 Embruix Vall Llach, both from Spain.
This wine seems softer than the other two, has a floral bouquet, and
very sweet fruit flavors. This is made using the "appasimento" technique.
This was the second favorite of the three, maybe because it was the most expensive.
This is a complex blend of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Bonarda. |
